Miss Shaun Dize Updike
Miss Shaun Dize Updike is not only the owner of Feet of Fire! But she’s also its primary instructor. With over 30 years of dance experience under her belt, Miss Shaun specializes in teaching tap, jazz, ballet & lyrical to students of all ages. As a competitive dancer herself, she traveled around the US winning numerous awards & national titles. She has been trained by some of the world’s best teachers and choreographers and also has a degree in Exercise Science & Nutrition from Salisbury University. In the last 18 years that FOF has been in business, Miss Shaun has made a serious name for herself in the dance industry. With over 300 students, FOF is not only the biggest studio in the area but it also has the largest, most state-of-the-art facility.
Miss Shaun has put together the Eastern Shore’s most professional and impressive staff to give the students at FOF today’s most premiere dance experience. Our Performance Troupe is well known throughout our community and our Competition Team is ranked among the best on the East Coast. The overall “entertainment value” that Miss Shaun provides cannot be matched by any competitors in the area. But most of all, Miss Shaun prides herself on providing a warm, caring & organized environment where every dancer & family (both recreational & competitive) are important. This is what makes Feet of Fire! a truly special place!
